One of our deacons came up to me after the service this past Sunday night and handed me the tithe envelope you see pictured above. He told me that my daughter, Moriah (who is six), put it in the offering plate.
Susanah and I were unaware; Moriah had been earning these Good Conduct Credits in Children’s Church. After a family devotional on giving God what is rightfully His, God placed on Moriah’s heart to tithe on her Good Conduct Credits.
She got a tithe envelope, filled it out, put her Good Conduct Credits inside, and placed it in the offering plate. When I was given this envelope, I was so proud of her. Of course, our church will not benefit from this generous gift but she got it! She not only understands the truth but she possesses a desire to be obedient to the truth. As a father, what more can you ask for.
